We Can Help

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, we could help you come to an Informal Arrangement or an Individual Voluntary Arrangement with your creditors.

If there are not many people who you owe money to and you can make a sizeable repayment, an informal arrangement may be the answer. It may mean re-mortgaging your home to raise sufficient funds, but if that isn’t possible, there may be other options available to you, one of which is to propose an Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA) to your creditors.  If the Proposal is accepted by your creditors, the agreement made is legally binding both on you and your creditors.

An IVA is an offer by you to make repayments to those to whom you owe money, over a fixed period of time. This is normally between one and five years. It provides protection for you from your unsecured creditors.

Your unsecured creditors may not be repaid in full. However, it may well be in their interest to be assured of some payment over a given time and through a formal arrangement. You will obtain relief from your creditors and usually just have a single monthly payment to make.

It’s good for you – good for them.

Your debt problems will almost certainly be urgent. Please contact us and we will respond as quickly as possible.
